Dubai, UAE – September 17, 2026 — Dr. Abed Benaichouche, CEO of Open Innovation AI, joined senior technology and cybersecurity leaders for a panel discussion hosted by the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council on the sidelines of GISEC GLOBAL 2026 in Dubai.

Held under the theme “Securing the AI Era: U.S.-U.A.E. Cooperation on Trusted AI and Cybersecurity,” the discussion explored the evolving cybersecurity landscape as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded across organizations and digital infrastructure.

GISEC Breakfast Discussion

The session opened with keynote remarks from H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cyber Security Council, and brought together Dr. Benaichouche alongside Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX; and Amr Kamel, General Manager of Microsoft UAE.

Discussions addressed the rise of AI-enabled cyber threats, the growing role of AI in cyber defense, and opportunities for stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors as organizations work to build more secure and resilient AI environments.

For Open Innovation AI, the discussion reflects the growing importance of embedding security, control, and trust into AI infrastructure and applications from the outset, particularly as enterprises and governments move from experimentation toward deploying AI at scale.
