Athens, Greece, October 22, 2026 – Open Innovation AI joined the UAE delegation at the UAE–Greece Strategic Forum in Athens, sharing its sovereign AI experience and exploring opportunities for cooperation with Greek counterparts.
Held during the official visit of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, the forum brought together government officials, business leaders, and investors to advance cooperation across strategic sectors, including artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
Ali Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of Open Innovation AI, participated in the panel “Connected by Innovation: Building Partnerships to Advance AI and Emerging Technologies.” The discussion examined what enables successful AI adoption and the barriers that prevent organizations from scaling.
Open Innovation AI’s participation brought a sovereign AI perspective to the dialogue, connecting its experience in the UAE with opportunities to support AI adoption through cooperation between Emirati and Greek organizations.
