Beirut, August 2026: Open Innovation AI participated in the official UAE business delegation to Lebanon, led by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, during a two-day visit to Beirut on August 26 and 27, 2026.

Represented by Ali Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer, Open Innovation AI took part in the UAE-Lebanon Business Forum as part of the 80-member delegation of UAE business leaders and officials. The forum brought together government and private-sector representatives from both countries to advance trade and investment cooperation across infrastructure, reconstruction, food security, agriculture and technology.

The visit also marked the launch of the Joint UAE-Lebanon Business Council, formed through an agreement between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon. The council held its inaugural meeting following the forum and will serve as a platform for continued business engagement between the two countries.

Open Innovation AI helps governments and enterprises build, deploy, govern and secure AI on their own infrastructure, across on-premises, hybrid and air-gapped environments. Its sovereign AI approach gives organizations the flexibility to adopt AI at scale while meeting their security, regulatory and operational requirements.

As AI becomes part of every economic agenda, the question for governments and enterprises is not only how to adopt it, but how to keep control of it. That is the conversation Open Innovation AI brought to Beirut, and one it looks forward to continuing.
